So Tanner and Ty and I are having a dispute (and I am right and of course can prove it).?? We love Jack Johnson and often listen to??him in the car (and always when we go to San Diego).?? On one of his songs, Never Know, he sings the word “shockin”.?? My boys are convinced he is singing about shotguns and beg for the shotgun song.?? No amount of defense for the actual lyrics has persuaded them.?? Whatever.?? Ironic that we got into this debate this weekend while driving up north as I was reading Dr. Dobson’s “Raising Boys”.?? LOL.?? Figures.?? Excellent book by the way.?? I read a lot of it out loud to Jim and he is liking it too.
Tori, of course, agrees with me but she finds the whole thing, frankly, silly.?? ๐

Scripture says “let your yes be yes and your no be no”.?? Ty firmly believes in this principle.?? My wishy washy answers drive Ty nuts.?? He asks a lot of questions in a day and I find myself avoiding committments often.?? Lately he has begun to say “Mommy!?? Yes or no??? Just yes or no!”?? Guess he has had enough with my “maybe’s”, “wait til later and we will talk about it”, “ask when Daddy comes home”, “I don’t know Ty”, “not right now Ty”, ” possibly this evening”…etc.?? :)?? YES OR NO MOMMY!?? JUST YES OR NO!!!!?? Funny.

Last week when Jenna was here, Ty decided to try out being disagreeable.?? Here is how it went:
Tanner:?? Tori is really heavy in that carseat.
Jenna:?? Actually Tanner, the problem is the carseat not Tori.?? The carseat is too heavy.
Ty:?? I don’t agree with Jenna.
Doni:?? Ty you don’t even know what we are talking about! :)?? How can you disagree?
Ty:?? Oh!?? I agree mommy!?? I agree!?? I so agree!
What a munchkin.?? I think he just likes to talk.

Before getting Ty his glasses I was debating about whether or not I would pay the extra money for a thinner pair.???? I didn’t want that “magnified” look.?? Ultimately, I decided to wait on that expense because I wasn’t sure how Ty in glasses was going to go.?? Would he brake or lose them in the first week??? So far he hasn’t but still holding my breath.?? As it has turned out, I think he looks so precious and go figure – the magnification is awesome because it gives a close up of some of the most beautiful eyes on the planet.??
