This is the wrap I made.?? Okay there wasn’t any “making” to it.?? I purchased 5 and half yards (NOT feet) of woven cotten fabric from Walmart for a dollar a yard.?? That’s it.
I read instructions online on “how to wrap” and it is very easy.?? Wrapping her on the back would take some practice but I am not ready to wear her behind me yet anyhow.?? She likes to nap this way so it is very convenient for both of us and gives much better shoulder support.?? I can tuck her feet in (as pictured) or let them out and I can wear here facing me (as pictured) or facing out.?? (There are side, back and cradle positions as well).?? She loves facing out now and she is getting to the point of wanting to be worn all the time.?? ๐
I was wearing her in a black wrap at her baby shower and my friend Sarah said “What is this??? Wear don’t share?”?? Knew I would need that quote for a picture.?? LOL!?? I am being teased about this continually.?? People are jumping to the completely far fetched conclusion ๐ – that I am being selfish and avoiding having to share her by wrapping.?? Could it be true??? ๐
Tanner had a nice birthday party last night and so far has remained rash free.?? I start slowly weaning him off the prednisolone tonight.?? His blood tests came back and showed an allergy to bermuda grass and red top grass.?? The Dr. told me ahead of time that if anything came back positive on the blood test that we could pretty safely assume that was the culprit because most of the time an allergy won’t show on a blood test while in the middle of steroid treatment and Tanner already had a lot in his system by the time of that test.?? Dr. assumed all would be negative and we would have to retest once he was off steroids.?? I haven’t actually talked to the Dr. about this, but based on our conversation, I now assume that his grass allergy may be a serious one HOWEVER, I really doubt that was the cause of the outbreak because he had been sick all week and had not even been outside.??
Going to Sweetie’s today to take a few “seven” pictures.??
One response to “Don’t Share”
i’m with you that the grass allergy isn’t likely to have caused the hives. he’s been around a lot of grass before (like at your folks) and showed no signs of skin reactions – right? at any rate – good to know for seasonal allergies. will you test him again after he’s off everything just to see if anything else shows up? I’M JUST SO GLAD HE’S DOING BETTER!
and wear, don’t share… great plan. ๐ EXCEPT WHEN I FINALLY GET TO COME VISIT!
the wrap is very pretty and YOU look very pretty too!!!
