The Shack Discussion Guide

Dad posted the??discussion guide that he wrote for our church family discussion group.?? If you would like to use it for you own study groups, email him and ask for it.?? He would be happy to send it to you.???? You can find the guide on his blog HERE??and you can email him for a copy at drdonz@msn.com.??

He is working on an annotated copy now and will freely distribute that to anyone interested as soon as he completes it.?? I, for one, was glad he chose to do that because he asks some pretty insightful questions and on many of them, I wanted to know where he was going with it.?? :)??

Additionally, I wanted to post a link to a post that Wayne Jacobsen wrote (author of He Loves Me).?? It is titled “Is The Shack heresy?”.???? I would highely recommend reading it.?? Would have liked to have said all that in such a gracious manner myself.?? :)?? You can find it HERE.

  7. We started our Bible Class on the Shack last week. It went great. We started with the judgement chapter and God rocked the hearts of those who had any plans of being judgemental. Next we go to “making time to go to my shack”, then forgiveness. I have even changed the way I pray. Teach on!

  27. If you like The Shack, try Forgiving Ararat by Gita Nazareth. It’s about a woman who dies and struggles to solve the mystery of her own murder from her place in the afterlife. It’s a historical and religious exploration wrapped up in a suspenseful murder mystery. I’m a publicist and fan of the book and would love know wahat you think of Forgiving Ararat.
