I am actively working on the details of my little business plan but I don’t think I will want to take private sessions on until probably?? next year (except for those I have already committed to).?? I am just building portfolios now and have several family shoots scheduled.?? However, as a way of gaining more experience and building my portfolio, I thought I would organize a little mini shoot.?? If this goes well, I may do another one for Christmas.????
When:?? Tuesday, October 14th??and Wed, October 15th
Time:?? 30 minute mini sessions will be availabe between the hours of 12:30 and 4:30 both days.
Where:?? My home
I am going to try to keep this as simple as possible for these mini shoots.?? I will have a white background and some fall props (leaves, pumpkins, see Tori’s pics below…)??
This little fall shoot will be for??infants and children??only.?? Not taking on family groups this time.?? I will do portraits individually or with siblings – your choice.???? You might want to use this opportunity to dress them in their Halloween costumes if you have special ones picked out.?? Halloween day doesn’t always work out so well for photo opportunities.?? The kids are too antsy! :)?? I will make one exception to the “no big people” rule though for my own entertainment ;).?? IF mom (or dad) wants to be in the pictures with her kids AND she is in costume…I’ll do it.?? :)?? I got some cute pictures of certain zoo keepers with their little animals one year as well as a pretty adorable Scooby Doo squad so I don’t want to miss out on THAT opportunity hee hee.?? My main reason for keeping to kids only is simplicity of short backdrop and props for little people.?? 🙂
Session Fee:?? For this first mini shoot, there will be no session fee.?? I will make 5 to 7 pictures available for online viewing for you within 3 weeks.?? I have opened an account with a professional lab to ensure pro printing.????For this shoot, I??will have them printed for you charged as follows:
8×10 = $18.00
5×7 = $ $8.00
8 Wallets = $8.00

I wished I lived closer too! I don’t have kids of my own yet, but I’d bring my nieces and nephews to you in a heartbeat!! TOO CUTE! Can’t wait to see the ones with the boys!
doni, make sure you have them sign something that says you can use their pictures as samples, in marketing stuff, on your blog & website, etc. Technically, you as the photographer, and they as the subject in the photo, both own rights to the images. on the bottom of our flyer envelopes, we have a note that says “By initialing, I give permission for G&B to use my child’s image for marketing & promotion reasons. ____” if you need some other wording, let me know…
i too looooove the pictures and i really enjoy seeing your kiddos grow up from afar!
as far as the hives/reaction goes, have you thought of having Ty and Tanner tested for what they’re allergic to? it’s not too pleasant an experience, but then the doctors might be able to treat it better (give them the proper medicines). i had the testing done in about 8th grade and then they figured out medicines to give me to help specifically what i’m allergic to. because they’re both so young, i’m not sure if the doctor would want to test them or not. good luck–i hope it gets figured out!

Oh man! I would love to bring Luke, he loves this time of year with all the pumpkins, but I don’t think the times will work for me since it is an hour to your house and I have to be home by 2:30 to get the twins off the bus.

I have a costume for Devin that I bought last year I need to pull it out and get take some pictures… they won’t be as good as these by far but still fun. He’ll be a Zeebra.
O.k., thinking back, I believe you are the only person who I trust to capture Landen’s best moments and blue eyes.
Some of the greatest pictures I have of him are from your talented eye. NICU days, Ty and Landen, Landen at birthday Ty’s party, Landen during Christmas eve, Landen back in full swing……get where I’m going with this.
