(Pictures – my niece Zandi)
So today I was cleaning house and Tori spilled water all over my coffee table.?? I got a dish rag and dried it off.?? Busy and off to another project, I allowed the dish rag to fall to the floor.?? When I came back into the room, Tori had picked the dish towel up and was busy drying the coffee table.?? :)?? WOW!?? I hit the jack pot with this one!?? 🙂

Gosh I don’t know how you do it but you can sure capture those eyes. If you have any advice for me on that PLEASE let me know. My younger son (4) has the same color eyes. Grey/Green sometimes they are even Blue but I can never seem to get them in pictures. I think he doesn’t open his eyes wide enough or Iam not shooting at the right time. If you can fill me in on your secret that would be GREAT! Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to see your Fall shoot. I am sure it will go wonderful.

(jere, i think doni has way too many secrets to ever get them all out of her! 😉 i think she’s been collecting ideas for years that girl! i do know this, she uses really good lighting to her advantage and where she doesn’t have it, she knows how to create it… outdoors in good sunlight and clear focus seems to give me the best results for eyes with my mid-grade camera… doni’s awesome equipment gives her many other options though. lucky girl – but she has worked hard for it! that’s for sure… expensive equipment alone does not a good picture make. 😉 )
