Wednesday was a wonderful day!?? First of all I would like to applaud my family members for being ON time for the court appearance!?? Way to go team!?? In attendance:?? Papa, Sweetie, Grandpa, Grandma (who both flew in from Chicago the night before), David, Aimee, Zane, Zandi, Darin, Jodi, Karsyn, Ryker, Dusty, Michelle, Daddy, Mommy, Tanner, Ty, TORI, Uncle Dave, Aunt Beck, Jenna, Matt, Amanda, and Blake.?? (Dan and Brooke had sick kids).?? We made quite a bit of noise with that group but it was such a great experience and I am so glad so many family members shared it with us.?? I overheard my Dad say to our adoption case worker as we left “See you next time”.?? LOL.

Tori chose to start blowing bubbles once the judge started talking and I could tell she was having trouble not giggling (the judge I mean).?? It was all very fast.?? I did pretty good during the event but was getting choked up before I went in.??

When we left, we all went to The Farm at South Mountain for breakfast.?? It was a perfect morning.?? Very cool and breezy and I thought the food at The Morning Glory Cafe was scrumptious.?? I want?? more of those fried potatoes right now.?? Mmmmmm.

From there we mosied over to the Phoenix Zoo.?? Did you know they have a new water play area right across from the walk thru monkey exhibit??? It’s really nice.?? Tori was begging to be put down so I finally stripped her down to a diaper and let her go.?? I saw other wide eyed mothers glancing at me wondering why I would let an 8 month old baby play in a water park but they quickly discovered that Tori is not an ordinary 8 month old.?? She took off and had a great time.?? Every time I tried to pick her up she started yelling and kicking her little feet.?? They have??a little river (only a couple inches deep) that she was sitting in but then she decided to crawl out into the middle of the sprinklers.?? I was waiting for her to freak out when they started spraying her but she didn’t react a bit.?? Remember several months ago I was concerned because she didn’t show any emotion when the shower head sprayed her??? Apparently she still doesn’t mind.?? She loved every minute of it.?????? Good times folks.?? Good times.

I had to post this so you could see her whole adoption day dress and pants.?? And yes, the Velvet Queen bought velvet for the princess.?? Couldn’t help it.?? While you can’t see from this picture, Ryker has past up Tori in size.?? He is significantly taller and heavier as well.?? He is the happiest little guy.?? Mr. Sunshine.?? Like her big brother, Tori was putting on her reserved face most of the time.?? She saves all her giggles and smiles for when she is at home.?? So much like Tanner…
