….is getting MARRIED!?? Yes I know – anti-climatic now.?? They got engaged back in June so most everyone already knows this.?? I intended to announce it on the blog months ago with a picture of her engagement ring (that Dusty made) but I never got that done.?? Recently we went up to Sedona and Oak Creek for their engagement pictures so get ready for a full week of pictures!?? 
Meet Michelle!?? She is 20 years old and works in health care.?? She was one of Aimee’s riding students so several family members have known her since childhood.?? They have been dating for two years now and their wedding date is set for Feb 22nd.?? Isn’t she a beauty??? Inside and out.??
Is that a cool door or what??? Nothing beats a cool door for pictures:).?? The other cool thing about this picture is that they are standing in front of the honeymoon cottage that Jim and I stayed in 14 years ago.?? Good times ;).??
More pictures where these came from…stay tuned.?? One interuption will be necessary though.?? My brother David won the costume of the year on Halloween.???? I didn’t bring my camera to our family party but actually had Papa drive me home to get it because I could not miss capturing David’s ensemble.?? For those that missed it, no worries – it’s all on digital negative preserved.?? :)?? Heidi – you especially will appreciate it.?? 🙂
Tori seems to be over her croup and everyone is well.?? Her hair finally works in mini pig tails so I must get pictures of that soon.?? Tanner cracks me up because he says that when I take her pig tails out she looks like she has mickey mouse hair.?? He is so right!?? Two big black clumps on her head do indeed look like Mickey Mouse ears.?? :)?? I really scored too because she has a tough head!?? Woohooo for me!?? I was tugging and pulling and pushing to get her pig tails in and she didn’t even make a peep.?? How did I get THAT lucky??? I am learning from Jodi that most hairstyles on baby girls require a ton of hair product.?? Will have to invest in that soon.?? My first complaint though is the rubber band selection.?? I first had the tiny colored ones but I abandoned them because I didn’t like the colors and I thought the straight elastic was bad on the hair.?? Instead I bought clear plastic tiny bands at Walmart.?? I hate those suckers.?? They have no elasticity to them.?? Not sure what to try next.?? Any suggestions?

can you just use tiny barrettes or the mini/mini/mini hair clips/jaws??? they make them SO tiny. i even saw some that had a silicone like strip inside to help hold the hair. hmmmm…. I MUST SEE PICTURES OF THAT GIRL’S PIG TAILS! SOOOOOO CUTE!

as to these photos? I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE FAMILY WITH SO MANY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!! EVEN THE ONES WHO MARRY INTO THE ZIMMERMAN CLAN ARE GORGEOUS! Good luck with the hair thing. I had a hard time until the girls hair got thick enough to use the elastic fabric ones. Lauren’s hair is still so thin that I can’t use anything in her hair that doesn’t break it. I have used the tiny rubber bands on occasion though, when cute hair was a must. 🙂
I have some tiny barretts and clips but she eats them so I try to be careful with that. And – no comment – on the other thing. 🙂

what about the rubberbands they use in orthodontics? i remember using my braces rubberbands for tiny braids sometimes. don’t know where you’d get them unless you know somebody with braces.
