My friend Liza mentioned to me one day that knit hats and outfits are awesome for photography.?? I must agree!?? I love the way the texture presents.?? This particular hat is perfect for Tori.?? Sweetie explained it best.?? She told me that round heads require taller hats LOL.?? Keep your eye out for good buys on great hats for??girls and boys – would you??? I would really love one of those sleeper hats that have the super long tails.?? Like the kind that match the jammies in old storybooks….Night Before Christmas for example.?? You know what I am talking about?
Another one of her adorable expressions featured here:).
Guess who finally learned to ride a bike??? TANNER!?? Uncle Daniel taught him this weekend.?? Should Jim and I be embarrassed by that LOL??? Aren’t a lot of good riding opportunities at our house – it isn’t safe enough.
Nice eyelash shot. ๐
Soon you’ll be able to see the top teeth as well – the top EYE teeth that is. ๐
It is 11:46 AM and I think she finally decided to slumber off.?? She was singing to me for quite some time.?? I always loved how Ty used to sing himself to sleep and Tori loves to do that too.?? Tori LOVES music.?? She just dances away.?? She loves worship time at church too and adds her own vocals.?? Adorable.?? I need to get video of her bobbing her little head to music.?? She likes to clap too.?? She learned that a few weeks ago from Sweetie.?? Today she has been patting me a lot.?? Every time I pick her up she just starts patting me.?? She is not eating much baby food.?? Maybe half a small jar at meal time.?? Just like Tanner at 8 months, she thinks it is for the birds and wants us to give her the real deal.
Tonight, on a lark, I started reading through Ty’s NICU journal.?? Only got to day 7 but…wow…hard to believe almost 5 years has passed.?? FIVE YEARS!?? He has just done so amazingly well.????Last week??he asked me about counting so I explained counting patterns with him and counted up to about 50 showing the pattern.?? Yesterday in the car he randomly started counting and stopped at 40.?? Jim and I just looked at each and started laughing.?? Not because it’s unusual necessarily for a 4 year old to count to 40 – because I haven’t worked with him on it save that one time.?? He is very quick to pick up new concepts.
Tanner is doing great with learning multiplication and division too.?? I bought story cards from www.memoryjoggers.com (I think that was the url) and they totally make sense to him.?? Picking that right up.?? If only I would have had a better plan for addition/subtraction facts!?? Learned that lesson the hard way.
Anyhow, reading portions of Ty’s NICU blog tonight has reminded me of how incredibly blessed we are.?? God’s mercy is new every morning isn’t it?

by the way, Seth can count to twenty – if he skips about 6 of the numbers between 11 and 20. ๐ ty is amazing. he must REALLY be listening in with tanner’s school too, don’t you think? hmmm… i think he’s got something special up there in his noggin!

Way to go TANNER!!!! We are so proud of you, that’s really cool! Ty…um, genius?! I don’t think Zandi can even count to 40 yet. Do you think Ty could teach her? You know she’s just like me and thrives off of competition – LOL! ๐
