I need to paint more pictures of my Ty!?? He is at the age though where he is always so silly in pictures that I am having trouble finding the perfect Ty picture for painting.?? I loved this one though because it is just SOOOOO Ty – isn’t it??? He giggles like this all the time.?? And you know I had to paint at least ONE with that hat!!!?? It was weird painting his eyelashes because usually I paint them strand by strand but Ty’s eyelashes are so thick that would be impossible.?? Here is a closer up:

Next week I will post one painting every day!! :)?? You NEED to check in on MONDAY because I am going to post my most favorite painting yet!!!!?? I love fantasy composites, so I used a picture of Karysn and made a dreamy fantasy painting that I L O V E!?? If Darin and Jodi don’t print it on canvas – I’ll have to do it for my own house.
A few people have mentioned that they “wish they lived closer” so I could do paintings for them.?? When I start my business, I WILL be able to paint for people out of state.?? I can’t say it will be real cheap though because (a) the time it takes and (b) printing on canvas is not cheap either.?? Also, I will only be able to paint photos that you own the copyright to.???? Just thought I’d thrown that pitch in;).???? I am working hard at improving my skills in this area because I would love to be able to make some money doing what I love.?? We’ll see.?? :)?? There are places that I have heard of (like some Walmarts rumor has it), that “paint” pictures you have done there but it is an automated conversion, it isn’t??a hand paint.?? You can’t beat the hand painting.
Tori:?? Good News:?? She slept through the night. That is with two pairs of jammies to keep her warm, vicks vapor rub on chest and feet, benadryl, a diluted bottle so that she had less milk.?? Bad News:?? Her nose is still running and it is no longer clear.?? That does not indicate allergies to me.?? Do you think??? I thought when the mucus is yellow or green tinged, that indicated at least a virus and possibly an infection.?? Am I right about that?
***I know I have been messing up your morning routine by late postings hee hee but I am off schedule right now.?? Next week should be better – I hope.

Now that is a precious Ty face!!!!! And yes, that is how we see him most of the time – a huge smile and those darling long lashes! I love the “paintings.” I think they are one of my new favorites of yours – every picture has the potential to be a VanGough!!!!! (Can’t you see the “sister” picture done as Flora, Fauna and Merryweather!!!!!) Can’t Tanner have a longer vacation? We need more while you are so inspired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as far as my experience, not-clear is not an indicator of anything specific. CAN be allergies… can just mean she’s fought it too long… but you never know – maybe she has allergies AND a cold at the same time. don’t rush to antibiotics over yellow mucus though – used to be thought that it was infection and had to have antibiotics when it’s yellow. i beg to differ (though maybe drs have changed their tune on that one too – not sure). 🙂
What beautiful eyelashes!! I would love for you (once your business gets up and running) to do a painting for me. Of who, I do not know, but the possibilities are endless! 🙂 We have lots of pictures to do, huh? 🙂

Yellow mucus doesn’t necessarily mean infection. It does mean that it is getting thicker and harder for her to breathe though. Could still just be allergies…OR could be a cold. In either case – have you tried suctioning her nose with saline and a bulb syringe right before she goes to bed?? It is SOOO pitiful when little ones are sick, and unfortunatey there just isn’t much that can be done to make them get better. Hope she feels better soon!!
