Not Always A Picnic

Photo sessions are not all smiles – trust me.?? After awhile the kids were ready to go and I wasn’t.?? Caught a few classic moments.

Two boys fighting on a bench.?? Typical.

Pouters.?? ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. beautiful. all of them. i’m SO glad you are not a ‘classic portrait’ type of photographer. i would still praise your fine work and would certainly be proud of you. BUT THIS IS SO MUCH MORE FUN!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I love Ty with the full cheecks getting ready to blow out his candle! Perfect capture! And yeah, I hear you on the pouting and the fighting and being obstinate in general. I try to cut them some slack because I figure if someone followed me around with a camera they would catch some pretty ripe expressions from me, to. And maybe even a (rare – I promise) hand gesture or two. :). I love that you post the “outtakes” and see them as portraits of your boys. It shows both your big heart and your good sense of humor.

  3. As the boys duly authorized talent agent it is my contention that my near perfect grandsons were not pouting, but just posing again for a different look. Talen scouts are everywhere looking for this kind of unique ability in children. To prove my point, the next time you think they are pouting, just offer some ice cream and see how fast they will pose a smile! They really are that good!
