I usually don’t post FIFTEEN pictures in one post but I felt it necessary today because cake smash pictures tell a story and I want you to see the whole thing.?? It was HYSTERICAL.?? Mom and I were laughing so hard I was crying – and believe me – it was very difficult getting these shots with tears rolling down my face.?? Since I posted this so late in the day, this will serve as both the Monday and Tues post.?? ;)?? Notice her tribal pose I have been telling you about in the first picture.?? You will notice more of it throughout this series.?? 🙂
When we first put her down by the cake, she kept looking at us with big eyes and saying “Mmmmmm!”?? “Mmmmmm!”.?? She knew what it was but she kept looking at is like “can I really eat this??? I mean for REAL?”?? Your just going to let me dig in right here on the floor??? REALLY?”?? I processed about 32 pictures and am showing half of them.?? Posted in the order they were taken.

THIS is why we died laughing.?? Neither mom nor I suspected she would BITE into the cake.?? Instead of using her hands, she just layed down on the floor and bit right in.?? It was soooo funny.

I am laughing so hard!!! These are sooooo precious, Doni!!! I had a feeling she would really like her cake, BOY DID SHE EVER!!!!!!!! These need to be in a magazine and definitely blown up in your studio someday!! I love 1st cake pictures and these are the best ever!
I just showed this to Cole and he keeps saying, “Look at them again!” and he is laughing hysterically, too! He likes the picture of her taking the first bite on the floor with her face in it!! I can’t even pick a favorite, they are so awesome!!!!
OMG, that is just so funny. I love them. She had a blast and you could tell. I could see why you could not stop laughing. It was the best!

BTW – Tyler does the flat footed squat thingy too. We always though it was interesting because Matt’s dad sat like that ALL the time!! But that is the only 2 people other than Tori that I know of that can do that – I certainly can NOT!

This is my absolute favorite shoot ever!!! We have to do this for Ryker’s first birthday. My favorite one is the Precious picture. It looks like you might loose a few fingers if you got too close, I just love it!!

ABSOULTELY HILARIOUS!! what PERFECT 1st birthdy pictures. She looks like she’s in heaven!!! oh man I was laughing so hard. That warning look OH MY do not make her mad. What a tribal squat!!! it definately looks natural for her to be in that possition. The one of her standing that looks like she’s yelling. She’s actually calling her tribal brothers over to join in the fun saying you are NOT going to believe what I’m doing over here… 🙂

Kristy – you are so right. It does look in that picture like she is calling her brothers to get in on the goods. Too funny. I will think of that everytime I look at it now and truthfully – she WAS calling out to Tanner in that picture but if you note the “precious” picture earlier, I really DOUBT she intended to share. 🙂 More of a “see what I have and you don’t” yell probably hee hee. Hey it’s fair. Tanner does it to her all the time.
