Recently Tanner asked me if he could pray with Tori before bed.?? He started his prayer in his normal fashion
“Dear Jesus – please help Alex and Landen to get better…please help Tori to get strong and healthy…
then he added this
…and Jesus please help us to know you and help us to love you – amen.”
Can’t tell you how much that last line moved me.???? He summarized things he has heard me say many times but he took it to heart and made it his own.?? My kids bless my heart every day.

I would have started this post with how absolutely adorable Ty is, when you titled this one “Make me smile” that is exactly the first thing I did (no actually I cracked up!!!) However, by the end of the post and reading Tanner’s bed time prayer I went from laughing out loud to wiping tears away. Don’t you just love when our children “get it!” When it is just so obvious that it is becoming “theirs” and in so practical ways they just trust, and love and play and most of all don’t worry (about the economy, could we lose our house, how are we going to pay for tires, etc. etc. etc!!!) Precious!
What can I say tanner is amazing.
