Pillow Case Dress

??I had in my mind a picture of a black and white damask pillow case dress with red ribbons and my MIL made it for Tori just like I envisioned.?? She actually fauxed the dress:).?? Can you believe that her hair is long enough for full pig tails now??? :)?? It falls in the back without a lot of spray but I can get it up wet.?? All these pictures were taken at Papa and Sweetie’s last week.?? The above rock is on the dirt road by Grammy’s barn.

??This is up on the high road behind Grammy’s.

??

I have four more blog days of this dress so you’ll get sick of it soon.?? :)???? Going out for a post birthday celebration with Susie tonight.?? Yeah – a girl’s night out! That’s rare!??

  1. (susie is so lucky!)

that dress is DARN CUTE!!!! did she paint the fabric? or fabric dye? it is just gorgeous. She did and amazing job… of course, as cute as the dress is, NOTHING makes it cuter than Tori. 🙂 Aren’t you lucky to have parents that live somewhere so amazing too? Such a great backdrop for such lovely pics. (that last picture had me just giggling it’s so cute! You can really see the dress and Tori looks like she’s going on an adventure.)

  2. So beautiful. wow what a great job and it looks so easy to make. Tori is so cute. I have alot of catching up to do on your blog. Justin is 4 weeks tomorrow and I feel like I have not read your blog in forever. I need a lap top for sure.

  3. Doni, you have definitely entered the gifted zone in photography. Only the gifted could have taken those settings and produced this quality of photography. Your artistic eye and touch turned rocks and weeds into a park like setting. I built all of those settings and they do not have a fraction of the beauty in them that you create with your heart and art. You no longer take pictures, you create. This is Arizona Hiways quality work. Incredible! (This does not apply as much to my grandaughter, anyone with a disposale camera would get a great picture of her, she is that cute. I know, I have taken tons myself and every one of them is adorable)

  5. Odd, I used the word gift—ed twice and the program would not let me post. Still won’t. Had to —- to see if it would work.

  6. Last night was a blast..thanks.
I love the dress, you have brought back a flood of memeories with them. I was taught how to make them years ago when KyLeigh was a newborn. They are certainly fun, easy, and creative to make.

  7. OHHHHH MYYYY GOODNESS! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that DRESS! So cute!!!!! These are adorable!

  8. Are you kidding me????!!!!!! These are so precious! Doni, how can she keep looking like you more and more. I keep seeing you as a little girl in her?! How cool is that of God? 🙂 And I want to know how Sarah did that too? That dress is darling and I like the black and white with red bows as well. Good job as usual. I love them. (And I agree with your dad, you made our dry desert look like a gorgeous park setting!!)
