Here is the picture that I painted and had printed as a huge 30×40.?? I was trying to meet a gallery wrap sale deadline so I didn’t have time to plan much.?? A yellow background probably isn’t what I would have chosen but in the end, I couldn’t really decide what I wanted and had to do “something” at least.?? I do really love this of all three of my kids though.
Here it is hanging on the wall.?? Dad and I both agree that the wall needs to be a different color to bring out the colors in the painting so when my MIL gets back from Chicago I intend to put her on this project.?? :)?? I am thinking some cool stenciled frame around it would be super fun too.
As I was typing this I got to try out a “choice” on Tanner.?? It is 11:19 PM and he just came into my room?? to tell me he could NOT go to sleep right now.?? I told him that I had plenty of work around the house that might make him pretty tired and gave him some ideas if he wanted to give that a try.?? He is now back in bed.?? :)?? Unlike Tanner, I AM sleepy so off I go.

speaking of creative ideas – BACK TO THE PAINTING! DONI IT IS SOOOOOO SWEET! SOOO SOOO sweet. 🙂 i bet you smile every time you see it hanging there. and i love the idea of a stenciled frame around it. i’ve seen it done and think it can be really creative and elegant (or fun and whimsical depending on the style chosen).
what color can you do your wall that will still go with your decor i wonder? maybe you’ll have to take a small print out of the picture to look at paint to see what would match the picture and the rest of the room. 🙂 fun fun fun!!
Beautiful. I can not wait to see it in person. I love the idea of the stenciled frame. I just pulled some ideas from magazines on stenciled picture frames.

It looks AWWWWSOME!!! And I think it’s so cute how you are going to change the color of the wall to compliment it. Nice to have a MIL like that huh?! Love the choice idea too…I’m gonna use that one, Z & Z have been having trouble going to sleep the last couple nights too:).

That is such a great picture of all THREE of your children! How excited were you for that shot??? I can’t wait to see it in person and I think it looks beautiful above your mantel! That will be such a treasure for you and I love the way you painted it! Great job as always . . . but especially meaningful because they are yours!!!!
