Off the picture subject to talk about my girl for a minute.?? Tori really has mama’s back lately.?? A couple of weeks ago Tori and I were at our Thursday night study at my parents.?? I was sitting next to my friend Laurie.?? Laurie said something that I thought deserved a good smack (very typical for Laurie LOL 😉 and so I smacked her leg.?? Tori saw this – marched over to Laurie – smacked her leg and then added a pinch for good measure.???? I interpreted that as “don’t mess with my mom”.?? It was all very reminiscent of Joan and Melissa Rivers.?? If you saw any of this years season of Celebrity Apprentice, you’ll know just what I mean.?? 🙂

About a week later I laid down on the couch and put my head in Jim’s lap so he could tickle my hair (what a honey).?? I don’t know what she thought he was doing to me but she didn’t like it, got very upset and started crying for mama.?? Strange.

This past week I took her to the chiropractors office.?? The minute I laid down on the table and the chiro touched my back she started wailing.???? Moral of my story.?? Don’t mess with me.?? It upsets my daughter.?? 🙂

Update:?? I wrote the above last week.?? Was disappointed to realize this week that Tori is actually jealous of Mommy more than Daddy.?? She has started crying every time Jim and I snuggle one another.?? At first I thought she didn’t want to share me with her dad but when she crawled up in between us (while having a crying fit) and used her legs and hands to shove me away from Daddy I humbly got the message.?? She does have a personal VIP list and apparently I have moved to second.?? SHE is going to have to settle for second place with Dad because Mama will NOT give that up to anybody LOL.?? I keep telling her there is enough love to go around and she can sit right in the middle of us but so far she doesn’t want to share.

Okay more about Brooke Leanna…

Did you know that I first met Brooke when she was two??? I can still remember the way her mom’s hair was done up when she married her Dad.?? We have pictures of me reading books to her when I was seven and she was two.?? I’ll talk about her and Daniel’s love story next time.

A photographer that I enjoy took some pregnancy pictures that were posed similarly but the background was a field and an old truck.?? His pictures were my inspiration for this set but I wanted to use a stable and horses to get the same feel.?? I would have enjoyed a shallower depth of field but I couldn’t go over my sync speed with my bee and I had to stop down too much for that.

When I was pregnant with Tanner I may not have looked real sexy but I honestly did feel it.?? I loved my pregnant body.?? LOVED it!?? Brooke clearly proves that it is possible to do more than “feel” it.?? I am her sister.?? I can say that.
