Need Duct Tape

I love that “your hasseling me” look.?? ๐Ÿ™‚

*****************

If Tori takes off her diaper in her crib and fingerpaints with the contents ONE MORE TIME I am going to scream!!!!?? I have had to wash her crib and her sheets and HER three times in the last few days!!!!!!?? She doesn’t like to wear her clothes.?? She is a total Hoodini and can get pretty much anything off now.?? Tonight alone we have had to put her diaper back on about 4 times.?? I am so grossed out by this mess.?? The boys never did this.?? She seems to have greater difficulty getting off a snug onsie so I am going to have to try keeping her in those but it’s only a matter of time before she figures out the snaps.?? I don’t know what to try next except for duct tape.?? This is so not good.

  1. oh my goodness! not good! I’m also praying for you that you can find a solution ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. the oldest of my two girls, same thing. she could also climb out of her crib at 14 months. creativity was needed. we bought footless sleepers (you know, the footed jammies, w/o the feet!) and put them on her backwards. Zipped them right up the back, there was no way she could get out. Then for summertime, my mom sewed up a couple of lightweight one piece jammies with buttons in the back. The first time she made them with shorts length, but the little sweetheart actually pulled her diaper out the leg hole…then she made me some that were capri lenght. Perfect.

I bet duct tape would work though!

  3. The picture of Braxtyn is stunning! I am so sorry about the issue with Tori. My friends’ daughter used to do that all of time. I will have to ask her what she did to remedy it. I like the idea of pitting her clothes on backwards though!

  4. go for the duct tape – now – immediately… add backwards zippers and buttons next. ohmy… GROSS GROSS GROSS!!!!!!!!

now, not to take the attention from the, uh, SLIGHTLY MORE BEAUTIFUL parts of your post: ๐Ÿ™‚

I WANT COZY!!!PLEASE? PREETTTYYY PLEASE? I’LL FEED HER, BATHE HER, LOVE HER AND KISS HER AND SQUEEZE HER AND NEVER LET HER GO! she is just heavenly… she must smell like angels. ๐Ÿ™‚ and that big sister of hers? OH ME OH MY! MAMA AND DADDY BETTER BOTH HAVE THOSE SHOTGUNS READY! they are gorgeous. braxtyn’s eyes are just stunning.

  5. Duct tape IS a solution. Trust me-it works. I had to do this with Joshua. I put some tape over the diaper tabs only at night though. That’s when he unbuttoned his jammies & took his diaper off. The crib was wet 3 mornings in a row before I resorted to the tape. Luckily I never had anything worse than urine. It won’t scar her. He’s 6 now & almost normal-almost.

  6. LOL!! Rachel did this same thing as a baby. While tuck tape was a life saver, I remember becoming so frustrated when it was time to remove her diaper. I would take the frustration over the mess and clean up any day.

  7. mookimoo.com check out this website they make PJ for this. I have not tried them but from the reviews they look like they worked.

Some people I know also recommend putting the zipper PJ on backwards just cut out the feet.
