I LOVE the way the cocoon pictures turned out.?? A few months ago I asked Heidi to make me some cocoons and I have been anxiously waiting to try them on Cozette.?? (Heidi I want more in a couple other colors.?? Can I pick up some other yarn and send it pretty please???? Don’t you just love how it looks Heidi??? So sweeeeeeet!)
Conversation with Ty today.?? He was cleaning his room and kept going in there to tell him it wasn’t meeting my satisfaction yet.
Ty:?? Mommy come see my room now.?? It is soooo good.?? So so so so good.
Me:?? (Walk into room.?? Stare dumbly.?? Not impressed.?? Overwhelmed.?? All this showing on my face and I have already been in this room 3 other times at least to check.?? I say nothing I just stand there staring.)
Ty:?? Mommy….can you live with it?
LOL.?? Who could resist him?

LOVE them Doni…..they are beyond beautiful! You have grown so much as a photographer…I love how you capture moments and pieces……Cozy’s lips are so precious and you got them on numerous occasions. The hand peaking out of the cocoon – LOVE IT! ๐
Very impressed….you are truly gifted my friend.
Ty…what a cutie. I love his self confidence and never ending ability to keep trying:).
Doni…these are my favorite Cozy pictures. You keep getting better and better and I keep thinking how is that possible:).
Heidi…AWESOME AWESOME job on the cocoon. I love it! So cool.
Doni – these are so precious! My favorite is the colored version of Cozette in the wooden bowl – I love the contrast of the cocoon colors again the rich color of the wood bowl and both against the backdrop of the rough wood floor!!! Love it! (BTW – Cozy still looks like Graham to me ๐ I was sooooooooooooo sad to miss her at the family 4th of July party and then again at church on Sunday ๐ )
Love you,
Aunt Beck
So precious.
Did you have a pattern for the cocoon? Or is it a hat pattern made bigger? Looks like you used a very big hook for these. Great job on them, Heidi.
Oh my precious baby girl! I looooove these! I cannot wait to print these!! My favorite is the one with her hand holding on, I love that expression.
i’m loving her name more and more and more… it is perfect for her.
like aunt beck i love the colors – sooo rich with the woode/bowl… makes me want to snuggle up myself. those colors make me very happy.
the cocoon… uh… no… i TOTALLY winged it. which is why it’s not the perfect size. i had to look at a stuffed bear to guess and i guessed large. if anyone finds a good pattern for crochet, send it to doni. an enlarged hat would work well – good thoughts sarah… in fact, doni needs more cocoons and since i’m about to move (AGAIN!!!!!!!!), feel free to come up with something interesting if you have spare time! ha ha!
