Elephant

Let me introduce you to Elephant.?? This is exactly the kind of special friend I have been waiting for.?? One well loved.?? :)?? Zane got this bunny years ago and for whatever reason (does someone know?) named the bunny “Elephant”.?? As you can see, Elephant is a VIP.?? I needed to process this picture a couple different ways because I couldn’t make up my mind what direction I wanted to go.?? We’ll let Aimee decide.?? ๐Ÿ™‚

Isn’t that the cutest little Elephant you ever saw??? :)?? I think every kid needs a special picture of their BFF.?? ๐Ÿ™‚

I am so happy that I finally had the chance to grab a few shots of Zandi and Zane!?? I will be doing a full shoot with them in August and we have fun ideas brewing.?? Does Zane look just like my brother or what??? He looks so much like David as a young’un.

Tori is hasseling me….BIG time.?? She is climbing everything.?? She figured out how to climb up on my tall chairs (we have the tall kitchen and chair set that is a good foot higher than a standard table set).?? This is a BIG problem because she has farther to fall – there are often dishes on the table – and the table sits on a hard floor.?? Today Brooke called and asked for a recipe.?? I had to go into my room to get it and I wasn’t keeping track of Miss Menace while I was talking.?? At some point in our conversation, I wander into the kitchen to see Tori STANDING on the kitchen chair at the table draining the last few drops of a full Dr. Pepper can down the front of her, onto the chair and all over the floor.?? This was AFTER she had already emptied a full glass of milk in the same fashion.?? She did not even have the common decency to look chagrined when she turned and caught the exasperated look on Mama’s face.?? Needless to say – naptime came a bit early.

A few hours later I was talking on the cell phone while doing my hair in the bathroom (I can multi-task with a few things ;).?? Next thing I know, Lil Miss is standing beside me talking on my old cell phone while looking at herself in the mirror just like Mama.?? She says, “Hi!?? Uh Oh!” – which ironically, is about the same thing she heard me say when talking to Brooke and catching her in the earlier event.?? Is that all I say these days when I pick up the phone to call someone?

Want to do me a little favor??? I finally do have a new cell phone (same number as before) but loading my contacts is going to be a pain because Tori broke it so badly I couldn’t transfer my contacts from my last phone.?? It would be SO SWEET of you, if you would send me a little text today!?? That way, I can just save your number into my phone easy as pie.?? Be sure to sign the text though because my phone won’t recognize your number.?? I will love you forever.?? ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Zane’s “elephant” is adorable. Great pictures too. I love the one with it in the foreground but would need one of the ones with him holding it by his side too.

  2. can you have a verizon store copy contacts from jim’s phone to yours?

zane is soooo cute! his elephant is absolutely precious. i love it. perfect. whenever we finally come visit seth will have to bring 2 of his bff for pics. ๐Ÿ™‚ so cute. first picture and last one are creative and sweet.

  3. That is our precious Zane boy – I love these pics…first those little beat up legs holding Elephant by the well loved ear! How darling is that? Elephant has “accidentally” spent the night at our house several times and Zane always runs to greet him upon arriving!!! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I love how you captured our sweet boy and the creative zoom in on Elephant with Zane in the background should be the cover of a book, “A Boy and His Elephant!!!”

Uh oh is right with our little Tori! Don’t we already enough mischief makers in our family – I’m thinking Miss Have to Follow Her Everywhere Braxtyn, Mr. Wiggle Wiggle Can’t Hold Still Ryker…need I name more???!!!!!

  4. Oh I am SO glad you took these pictures! These will always be fun to look back on and remember Elephant. So here’s how Elephant got his name…My mom gave Zane a bunny for Easter when he was 2. He wasn’t attached to anything before that point, so I was surprised when he wanted to name it. He was really into Elephants at the time (and it was one of the only words he could say correctly) so I guess the name seemed perfect to him! The rest as you know is history:). I really like the color version of the 1st picture. And I am in love with all the other ones too. You really captured Zane…his happy little face, adorable gap-toothed smile and sweet sparkling brown eyes. He melts my heart, everytime I see him smile I can’t help but be in a good mood. It also makes it very hard to say no to him:). Thank you so much for watching them for us and for the pictures of them too. They are still talking about how much fun they had!
